This study is currently being piloted in Malaysia (2015). It is a survey that looks at how youth see the world, coping in life, future career, occupational information, how they see the global and local economy, employment outlook, academics, feelings and other general questions.
Results are anonymous and identity confidential. Information collected are aggregated and reported collectively for recommendations in increasing Positive Youth Development - esp Career Development.
All participants are 18 and above, and sign consent as voluntary participation in this survey.
Survey links are sent to participants allowing them to participate online.
The online survey is accessible on almost all computer and mobile devices that support the internet.
Researchers are from the University of Nottingham (Malaysia) and the Asian Research Center for Child & Adolescent Development (ARCCADE) - headed by Dr Patricia Ang and Dr Brendan Gomez - who are both Applied Developmental & Counseling Psychologists. The team includes Faculty Member Mr Lim Chee Ming of the School of Business.
The study has been approved by Nottingham's Ethics Committee (NUBS).
