FAQ
How will results collected be used?
Information collected is aggregated and reported for research purposes only (e.g. publications, conferences), and for recommendations for increasing positive youth development esp in regards to career development.
Results are anonymous and your identity is confidential. Information is only accessible by the research team trained in research ethical procedures.
Who can participate?
You need to be aged 18 and above to participate, are currently enrolled in a university or college, and agree wholeheartedly to willingly participate in this survey.
What is required of my participation?
If you are willing to help us, the following criteria is critical for quality and confidential information:
1. Please keep this link to yourself, and do not share the password with others.
2. Find a quiet place where you can think and do this undisturbed. (Yes, don't do this while attending a lecture)
3. Answer all questions honestly and as best you can. (There are no right / wrong answers)
Are there benefits and risks in participating?
By participating, some benefits include being able to reflect about one’s career and think ahead about the future after University. There are no adverse risks known from participating. If you do feel it would be good to speak to someone for career advising or emotional support, we encourage you to contact your university student support and counseling services.
Can I use any device to take the survey?
Yes, you can use a computer, tablet, smartphone, etc. However, its likely easier to complete using a computer or tablet.
Can I do half the survey and come back to it later?
No. We encourage participants to find a time when they can complete this in one sitting and on the same device and web-browser. This minimizes various errors in data collection.
How will I know how far along am I in the survey?
A yellow bar right at the very top will indicate where you are on this quick survey.
What if I accidentally miss / skip an item?
The survey is "intelligent" and will indicate to you in red which items you missed, and will allow you to proceed once you've responded to these items
